Don't forget November
Here is a teaser video before the second season takes the "geezer media" by surprise again. This video is from May 2005 but November has always been active across much of the southern tornado belt so, WAKE UP CHASERS!
Thanks to Dave from facethewind.com for shooting this video.

Saskatoon Snow Commute
Jared commutes to and from school today. Ice packed roads combined with annoying drivers and radio host. Too Short provides some therapy with some progressive language to be warned about.

No Tornado Evidence
Tornadoes have been reported on CBC, CKOM and Saskatoonhomepage.ca but so far no evidence has been submited. We drove all around that storm for many hours and saw nothing more than pea size hail that lasted for no more than 3 seconds. No damage from Foam Lake to Buchanan to Springside. We saw some good looking clouds but again got fooled into following it going north while there may have been a south-east moving storm that got away on us. When we gave up and started moving south towards Good Spirit Lake, we expected all the lightning to come right over us but we never even caught up to it. Weather radio kicked in too late to tell us what we missed. Photos will be posted later.

Sunday Afternoon Thunderstorm Video
Here is a short clip from this afternoon's thunderstorm that brought the city of Saskatoon some pea size hail. My son William does the background commentary.
